A chat window accompanies the drawing so that the correspondents may talk to each other as they draw. It is possible for two or more people on different computers to draw on the same OpenCanvas, at the same time. What makes OpenCanvas stand out from other programs, aside from the color behavior adjustability of the watercolor brush, is networkability. Tools consist of a flat-color pencil/pen, smooth watercolor, blurring tool, and eraser. Layer support is just OK, as there are only multiply, subtract, and add modes, and pixels cannot be moved individually inside a layer. OpenCanvas has very good tablet support, like most other Japanese programs. This is the last free version of OpenCanvas before it became quite like Photoshop. This is a very popular freeware, so I'm not sure I need to introduce it.
